Welcome to King Wilkinson & CompanyKing Wilkinson and Company was originally founded in 1948 in Exeter (Devon) and Taunton (Somerset) and is now based solely in Exeter, although we continue to do a significant amount of work in Taunton as well as the South West Region as a whole. The firm comprises two Directors, brothers David and Robert McLarin, together with a building surveyor and full secretarial support. The Directors originate from this area and have both previously worked and trained with London based national firms. David McLarin worked with Gerald Eve and Healey & Baker over a period of some ten years where he specialised in rating appeals and retail agency before moving back to this area in 1983. David specialises in rating appeals and landlord & tenant negotiations and provides general property advice. Robert McLarin worked in London for some eight years initially with Hillier Parker and then Richard Ellis before returning in 1990. At the latter, he was predominantly involved with capital valuations on a large variety of commercial and institutional properties throughout the country. Robert specialises in valuations, landlord & tenant negotiations, rating and general property advice. The firm generally provides advice on a wide range of matters involving commercial property including a full property management service, dilapidations and building surveys.
